- Notal'ı kullanmak için hesap açman gerekmez.
- Kitapların, alıntıların ve notların senin cihazında durur. Bizim bir uygulama veritabanımız yok; notlarını görmeyiz.
- Yedeklemeyi açarsan veriler senin Google Drive'ında, yalnız Notal'ın erişebildiği gizli bir klasöre yazılır.
- Reklam, izleme çerezi ve kullanım analitiği yok. Verini satmayız, kimseyle paylaşmayız.
- Kapak ve künye bulmak için kitap adı, yazar veya ISBN aşağıda sayılan servislere gönderilir. Notların ve alıntıların gönderilmez.
1. Biz kimiz
Notal, Nefha tarafından geliştirilen bir kitap notu ve kütüphane uygulamasıdır. Bu politika Notal'ın web sürümünü (notal.nefha.app) ve iOS/Android uygulamalarını kapsar. Bu belgede "biz" Nefha'yı, "sen" uygulamayı kullanan kişiyi anlatır.
2. Cihazında tutulan veriler
Kütüphanen (kitaplar, alıntılar, notlar, etiketler, raflar, okuma durumu ve kapak görselleri) cihazının uygulama depolamasında saklanır: web'de tarayıcının kendi depolama alanında, mobilde uygulamanın kendi alanında. Bu veriler bizim sunucularımıza gelmez.
İçe aktardığın dosyalar (ör. Kobo cihazının veritabanı, PDF dosyaları) cihazında okunur. Dosyanın kendisi hiçbir yere yüklenmez; yalnız içinden çıkan kitap bilgileri, alıntılar ve notlar kütüphanene eklenir.
Ayrıca cihazında şunlar tutulur: rastgele üretilmiş bir cihaz kimliği (yedeklerin hangi cihazdan geldiğini ayırmak için), dil ve görünüm tercihlerin, yedekleme açıksa Google oturum anahtarı.
3. Google ile giriş ve Drive yedeği
Yedeklemeyi açarsan Google ile giriş yaparsın. Notal şu izinleri ister:
drive.appdata: Google Drive'ında yalnız Notal'a ayrılmış gizli bir klasör. Notal Drive'ındaki diğer dosyaları göremez, açamaz, değiştiremez.openid ve email: hangi hesaba yedeklendiğini sana gösterebilmek ve yedeği doğru hesaba bağlamak için.
Yedek, cihazından doğrudan Google Drive'ına gider; araya bizim bir sunucumuz girmez. Google'dan aldığımız bilgileri yalnız yedekleme ve geri yükleme için kullanırız.
Notal'ın Google API'lerinden aldığı bilgileri kullanması ve aktarması, Sınırlı Kullanım (Limited Use) şartları dahil Google API Hizmetleri Kullanıcı Verileri Politikası'na uygundur.
4. Dış servislere giden bilgiler
Bazı özellikler internetteki servislere bir soru sormayı gerektirir. Bu servisler, her internet bağlantısında olduğu gibi, cihazının IP adresini ve tarayıcı bilgisini görebilir.

ISBN arama aracımız hiçbir şey saklamaz: ne kimin sorduğunu ne de cevabı. Kötüye kullanımı sınırlamak için Cloudflare, bir IP adresinden dakikada kaç soru geldiğini kısa süreliğine sayar.
Bu servislerin kendi gizlilik politikaları geçerlidir: Google, Internet Archive, Rakuten Kobo, Brave, Cloudflare.
5. Kullanmadığımız şeyler
- Reklam ve reklam kimliği yok.
- Kullanım analitiği, izleme çerezi ya da hata raporlama servisi yok.
- Notlarını ve alıntılarını yapay zekâ eğitimi dahil hiçbir amaçla almayız. Zaten bize gelmezler.
6. Satın almalar
Ücretli özellikler eklendiğinde ödeme App Store veya Google Play üzerinden yapılacak. Kart bilgilerini biz hiç görmeyeceğiz. Bu özellikler yayınlanmadan önce, hangi bilginin hangi servise gittiği bu sayfaya eklenecek.
7. Verilerini silmek
- Cihazdaki veriler: Uygulamayı kaldırmak ya da web'de tarayıcının site verilerini silmek kütüphaneni siler. Yedeğin yoksa bu geri alınamaz.
- Drive yedeği: Google Drive'da Ayarlar → Uygulamaları yönet → Notal → Gizli uygulama verilerini sil yolundan silebilirsin. Notal'ın erişimini Google hesabı izinleri sayfasından kaldırabilirsin.
8. Hakların
Kişisel verilerinle ilgili haklarını (6698 sayılı KVKK ve AB Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü dahil) kullanmak için bize yazabilirsin. Verilerin bizde değil senin cihazında ve Drive'ında durduğu için çoğu işlemi yukarıdaki adımlarla kendin yapabilirsin.
9. Çocuklar
Notal çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bilerek çocuklardan kişisel veri toplamaz.
10. Değişiklikler
Bu politikayı değiştirirsek güncel hâlini bu sayfada, yeni tarihiyle yayınlarız. Önemli değişiklikleri uygulama içinde de duyururuz.

Nefha Notal Privacy Policy

- You do not need an account to use Notal.
- Your books, highlights and notes stay on your device. We have no app database and never see your notes.
- If you turn on backup, your data goes to your own Google Drive, into a hidden folder only Notal can reach.
- No ads, no tracking cookies, no usage analytics. We do not sell or share your data.
- To find covers and book details, a title, author or ISBN is sent to the services listed below. Your notes and highlights are not.
1. Who we are
Notal is a book notes and library app made by Nefha. This policy covers the web version (notal.nefha.app) and the iOS and Android apps. "We" means Nefha; "you" means the person using the app.
2. Data kept on your device
Your library (books, highlights, notes, tags, shelves, reading status and cover images) is stored in your device's app storage: the browser's own storage on the web, the app's own storage on mobile. It never reaches our servers.
Files you import (such as a Kobo e-reader's database or PDF files) are read on your device. The file itself is not uploaded anywhere; only the book details, highlights and notes found in it are added to your library.
Also kept on your device: a randomly generated device ID (to tell which device a backup came from), your language and display preferences, and, if backup is on, your Google session token.
3. Google User Data Policy & Drive Backup
When you enable cloud backup, you sign in with your Google Account. Nefha Notal accesses and processes the following Google user data:
- Google Drive Application Data (
drive.appdata): We access only a private, hidden folder in your personal Google Drive dedicated solely to Notal. Notal cannot view, access, edit, or delete any other files or folders in your Google Drive.
- Google Account Identity (
openid, email, profile): We access your basic profile information (email address and Google user ID) strictly to authenticate you, display the connected account, and link your backup files to the correct user.
How We Use and Store Google Data
Your library backups are transferred directly from your device to your personal Google Drive via Google's official APIs. Nefha does not host an intermediate application server or database; your Google credentials and library data never pass through or get stored on any third-party or Nefha servers.
Sharing, Retention, and AI Training Prohibition
- No Selling or Transfer: We do not sell, rent, or transfer your Google user data or personal library contents to any third parties.
- No Advertising: Google user data is never used or disclosed for advertising, marketing, or retargeting purposes.
- No AI/ML Training: Your notes, book highlights, and personal Google data are never used to train or fine-tune artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.
- Data Deletion: You have full control over your data. You can delete your backups at any time directly through Google Drive (Settings → Manage Apps → Notal → Delete hidden app data) and revoke Notal's access at Google Account Permissions.
Nefha Notal's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. What is sent to outside services
Some features need to ask a service on the internet. Like any internet connection, these services can see your device's IP address and browser details.

Our ISBN search helper stores nothing: neither who asked nor the answer. To limit abuse, Cloudflare briefly counts how many questions arrive from one IP address per minute.
These services have their own privacy policies: Google, Internet Archive, Rakuten Kobo, Brave, Cloudflare.
5. What we do not use
- No advertising and no advertising IDs.
- No usage analytics, tracking cookies or crash-reporting services.
- We do not take your notes or highlights for any purpose, AI training included. They never reach us.
6. Purchases
When paid features arrive, payment will go through the App Store or Google Play. We will never see your card details. Before those features ship, this page will list what information goes to which service.
7. Deleting your data
- On your device: uninstalling the app, or clearing this site's data in your browser, deletes your library. Without a backup this cannot be undone.
- Drive backup: in Google Drive, go to Settings → Manage apps → Notal → Delete hidden app data. You can remove Notal's access on your Google account permissions page.
8. Your rights
You can write to us to exercise your rights over your personal data, including under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Because your data lives on your device and in your Drive rather than with us, you can do most of this yourself with the steps above.
9. Children
Notal is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date, and announce important changes in the app.
